The waist band is elastic, so if you are normally a size XS or S it will fit you.

Depending on each item's requirements, I manually wash some of them, others go to the washing machine and others are just sanitized. Especially for items that still have the original tag on, I prefer to just sanitize the item so you can have the pleasure of removing the tag yourself :)
